The Comparison of Social Structure

If you could have any social structure, which would you be in?Would it be more

Julius Caesar was a Dictator

similar to today or more similar to the social structure from Egypt, India/ Persia, and Rome? Social structure is the way people in a civilazation are ranked. People are ranked on things like the importance of their jobs, their culture, or heredity. There are some similarities and differences among Egypt, India/Persia, and Rome. Now we are going to explain the social structures of these different civilazations.

Egyptians, India/Persia, and Rome's social structures are closely related. Egytians had a pharaoh which was at the top of the social class. Like the Egyptians, the Indians had an emperor who had ruled their territory. The person on the top of the social structure in Rome is the dictator, but only when their territory is in a bad time. All these people were the top of the social structures and had total control over their territory. After the pharaoh, came the priest and nobles. Like the priests and nobles, there were brahmins in the Indian social structure. Like the brahmins and nobles who lived in luxury, Rome had patricians who were rich. The working class for the egyptians were merchants, craftsmen, farmers, and scribes. Then in Rome, they had plebians, and then in India, there was vaisyais who were also the working class. In India, there were sundras, in Rome they had slaves, and in Egyptians they had enslaved people or slaves. These people are all the same because they were all slaves.

Even though Egyptians, India/Persia, and Rome's social structures are closely related, they were also different. The Egyptians and India/Persia had one leader, but Rome has two leaders called consuls when times were regular, so the consuls didn't have complete control over the land like the dictator did when he was chosen by the consul. The nobles in Egyptians had to prepare a tomb, while the brahmins lived an semi-luxury life. The patricians lived a good life unlike the Egyptian nobles. These are some of the differences out of the Egyptians, India/Persia, and Rome's social structure.

Now that you heard about the ancient World I am sure you no alot about the way they lived depending on who they inherited from. This is not that diffrent from our social structure the emperor is like our president, the nobles our wealthy people, and we still have working class and homeless people would equate to slaves. The ancient world may have been thousands of years ago, but our life is just a new form of the ancient world. Whether its the egyptians kings to the indians sundras or maybe even the roman working class. The ancient world didn't really depend on how hard you worked it depended if your dad was important or if the gods picked you. This also demonstrates on how the ancient world was different. Well that is in our country. In places like North Korea, people may not believe in a fire breathing god but it is still hard to move up in the social class. So if you had to pick who would you want to be. let me guess julius ceaser, Darius, or king tutenkomen. They all had power over there empire and did not work hard to get it they worked hard when they got there power.

I hoped you learned alot about the ancient social structure.
